Giant Pods. This is what June along the beaches is all about. Although the weather hasn’t cooperated, at least the tarpon have.
Soon the pods will start to break up and the fish will be interested more in food than the spawn. The fish will move up in the harbor all of the way to the rivers. The boat traffic starts to subside. The fish are happy and so am I. This is why July is my favorite month to fish our area.
